Gene , a Viet-Nam veteran having served with the Marines was the kind of man that one could always count on . Gene became one of our first friends and supporters at the clubhouse .

At the time , we were under way with the new construction of the old building . Gene stopped by for a visit . Little did any of us know just how much of a true Friend and Brother Gene would become .

Whether it was summer or winter , night or day he seemed to always show up at the right time to help with cutting lumber or driving nails and anything else he could think of to better the Nightrider Home . Gene passed away suddenly without warning never seeing the clubhouse finished . We all miss Gene very much , he will never be forgotten .

As an organization we are saddened by the loss of our Brother Jake Stevens. Jake was a family man living in Tiptonville, Tn. for many years. In his early years Jake became a professional wrestler. Later on he was a retired correctional officer for the Tennessee Department of Corrections, in addition, he was a member of the Tiptonville Fire Department and the Lake County Sheriff's department and was an emergency medical technician.

His wife of 35 years passed away only a few months ago. Jake leaves behind his Children, Grand Children, Great Grand Children and several Sisters. He loved his family very much, However, problems with his heart and lungs continued to rob Jake of his family life that he loved so much.

Our Brother was a good man for all who knew him. Once in a lifetime does someone like Jake come along. Our gatherings at the Clubhouse now will have an empty spot, but in rememberence of Jake he will always be in our hearts and soul. To Our Brother, Ride The Wind, and May You Be Happy for all Eternity.
